CHILDREN’S SUMMER READING PROGRAM
The Saranac Lake Free Library, 109 Main Street , will host its Mary MacIntyre Summer Reading Program, on Wednesday, July 11, 18, and 25, 2012, from 10 a.m. until noon, in the Cantwell Community Room and Children’s Room. Children will be organized in preschool, first and second, and third and fourth grade groups to enjoy stories, craft projects, activities and special guests. The program is a wonderful way for children to continue reading over the summer and to have fun with other children. Call 891-4190 for more information.

CHILDREN’S STORY HOUR PROGRAM -- The children’s Story Hour Program, sponsored by the Saranac Lake Free Library, is presented during the school year on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m., in the Elinor B. Preis Children’s Room of the library, 109 Main Street . The series includes stories, poems and holiday celebrations. All preschoolers are cordially invited to attend. Children enjoy stories and the fun of getting together with other children. Call 891-4190 for more information.

Tuesday Evening & Saturday Morning Story Hour Program -- Tuesday evening story hour is held once a month from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Eleanor B. Preis Children’s Room. Saturday morning story hour is also held once a month from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Children’s Room. Both programs are jointly sponsored by the library and the North Country Childcare Network, with Terrie Perkins and Barbe Skiff presenting stories, poems and songs.
