CHILDREN’S
SUMMER READING PROGRAM
The Saranac Lake Free Library, 109 Main Street,
will host its 2013 Mary MacIntyre Summer Reading Program, on Wednesday,
July 10, 17, and 24, from 10 a.m. until noon, in the Cantwell Community
Room and Children’s Room. Children will be organized in preschool,
first and second, and third and fourth grade groups to enjoy stories,
craft projects, activities and special guests. The program is a
wonderful way for children to continue reading over the summer and to

| CHILDREN’S STORY HOUR PROGRAM -- The
children’s Story Hour Program, sponsored by the Saranac Lake Free
Library, is presented during the school year on Thursdays at 10:30
a.m., in the Elinor B. Preis Children’s Room of the library,
109 Main Street. The series includes stories, poems and holiday celebrations. All
preschoolers are cordially invited to attend. Children enjoy stories
and the fun of getting together with other children. Call 891-4190 for
more information.
Tuesday Evening
Story Hour Program – Children are invited to join the fun at the
Tuesday evening story hour, held once a month--usually the third Tuesday
of the month. The program
runs from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Eleanor B. Preis Children’s Room.
Terrie Perkins presents stories, poems and songs. Check the posters in
the Children’s Room or call the library at 891-4190 for specific
dates.
